INGREDIENTS:
• 1 cup curd
• 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
• 1 tsp green chilli paste
• 1 lemon (juice)
• 1 tsp red chili powder
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp turmeric powder
• 2 tsp oil
• 1 tsp Garam masala
• 700gm chicken
• 200 gms fenugreek (Methi)leaves
• 1 tsp cumin seeds
• 2 sliced onions
• 3-4 cloves,3-4 small cardamoms,1-2 bay leaves,1 big cardamom, and 2 nutmegs

PROCEDURE
MARINATION OF CHICKEN
• Take a bowl and add 1 cup of curd
• Add 1tsp ginger garlic paste,1 tsp chilli paste
• Add 1 freshly squeezed lemon juice
• Add ½ tsp coriander powder and salt to taste and mix well
• Add ½ tsp turmeric powder
• Add 2 tsp oil and 1 tsp garam masala
• Make a paste by adding some more oil
• Coat 700 gms of chicken pieces thoroughly into the chicken pieces
PREPARATION OF CURRY
• Put a pan over the flame and add 3-4 tsp refined oil to it
• Heat it well and then add
• Add 4 small cardamoms,3 cloves,1/2 tsp cumin seeds,1 big cardamom, and 1-2 bay leaves
• Let the spices cook into the oil
• Put three sliced onion into the pan and mix it well with the spices till it turns golden brown in color
• Add some washed green fenugreek leaves into the pan and 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
• Add ½ tsp salt,1/2 tsp turmeric powder
• Add ½ tsp coriander powder and ½ tsp garam masala and let them cook for 5 minutes
• Add marinated chicken into the pan and mix it well with the spices and other ingredients
• Now leave it for 7-10 minutes to cook.You will see that all the juices of the chicken are released into the pan.
• Cook it for 30 minutes at medium flame
• Now the methi chicken is almost ready,open the lip and add ½ tsp garam masala.
• Take it out in a pan and serve hot after garnishing it with coriander and a few chopped methi leaves.
