Mango Phirni


Mango Phirni” is a mango twist on the traditional dessert called “Phirni,” which brings the distinct memories of Eid and Summers. So here’s how we make this delicious traditional Phirni with a great twist of the King Of Fruits,  “ Mango.”

  • Half a liter of full-fat milk
  • ¼ cup of rice
  • Mango pulp
  • Elaichi powder
  • Mango – small chopped pieces


  • To prepare Mango Phirni to take full-fat milk in a pan
  • Put the flame on
  • Put crushed rice into the pan; you will get a grainy texture. Wait so that they cook properly
  • We have to let the milk cook with the rice till the milk gets thickened and rice gets properly cooked.
  • While making the Mango Phirni, we add the pulp later on. If you want to make traditional Mango Phirni, then add Kevda and rose essence.
  • Add half a tablespoon of Elaichi powder.
  • When the milk gets thickened and reduced, then add the sugar.
  • When the sugar leaves the water so we will have to cook it for some more time, we must always add sugar late.
